My name is Mykhailo Ozmenchuk, but most of my clients know me as Dr. Micha. I am from Ukraine πΊπ¦, where I grew up and lived. Since then, I have had almost ten years of extensive experience in the veterinary profession, including many animals and various countries.
This is where it all began in small animal practice in my veterinary school days. Then, I moved to Denmark π©π°; my next move was to a pig farm to continue building my skills.
Upon graduating from vet school in 2014, I spent 3.5 years studying at Hanover Veterinary University in Germany π©πͺ while working on a dairy farm. Next up was California, where my veterinary career kicked off in the fast-paced small animal general practice of Los Angeles.
Now licensed both in Nevada and California πΊπΈ, I absolutely love my job. My main focus is with small animals, but I am also ready at a moment’s notice to start working with exotics.
Being a veterinarian is an exciting mix of highs and lows each and every day. My commitment to my patients remains the same on the easy or bad days. I am thankful each day for the opportunity to be with the owners in such a supportive way and to develop close bonds with our patients.
This passion led me to the American Paw Club, which was created to educate, support, and unite pet owners. Our team is dedicated to delivering the best veterinary resources for our customers and their pets.
Best regards,
Dr. Micha, DVM
